Markus Jabornegg Altenfels (born October 8, 1974 in Linz ) is an Austrian author of books for children and young people.

Life

His favorite books as a child were Enid Blyton's adventure series . This gave rise to the desire to become an author, and as a child he tried to write his own stories. His first two works were a play at nine and the first children's book at thirteen. Further children's books, two plays and some picture books followed by the age of twenty. A total of 26 works have been published by him, some of them together with children's book author and game inventor Hans-Jürgen Böhm.

He is a member of Mensa International and runs a bookstore called Lesewelten .
