Markus Berger (born August 26, 1974 in Kassel ) is a German author and ethnobotanist .

Life

Berger writes books and book chapters on various topics. He also works as a journalist for international journals and magazines and as an editor for book publishers. Since 1993 he has been active in the international ethnopharmacology and botany scene. He gave lectures in San Francisco , Barcelona , Basel and Berlin, among others .

The freelance author lives in Felsberg near Kassel in northern Hesse .
