Markus Flückiger

Markus Flückiger (born January 11, 1969 in Brittnau ) is a Swiss Swiss orchestra player . He is considered a master of the Schwyzerörgeli and one of the most important folk music composers in recent years. Flückiger is a lecturer in Schwyzerörgeli at the Lucerne School of Music .

Life

Flückiger grew up in Brittnau and started playing the Schwyzerörgeli at the age of 6. He had his first television appearance at the age of 11. After completing his commercial apprenticeship, he worked as a freelance musician and music teacher. He played, among others, with the Suhrer LÄNNERFRIDE and with LÄNNERSTARS like Fritz Dünner and Ueli Mooser . He was also a member of the Hujässler , Pareglish , Rampass and many others projects . Today he mainly plays in the overland orchestra of Max Lässer , with the Hujässler , together with Reto Grab in the formation Rampass, with Andi Gabriel and Pirmin Huber in the Trio Ambäck and in a duo with the singer Nadja Räss .
