Bernd Haasler

Bernd Haasler (* 1968 ) is a German engineer and university professor .

Career

The training as a toolmaker in an industrial company and multi-year employment in this area Haasler left a training to become a certified technician to follow.

A technical college of engineering science , graduating with a degree in engineering , he added (FH) by a social science university of political science and vocational education . After graduating from university, he stayed as a research assistant at the University of Bremen . He was there in 2004 with a thesis on “ High technology and handicraft . A study on specialist work in toolmaking in the automotive industry . ” PhD .

During his activity as a substitute professor for vocational education at the University of Education in Heidelberg , Haasler was offered a new chair for technical didactics in general technical and vocational education at the Weingarten University of Education in 2010 , which he took up in January 2011. At the beginning of 2017, he moved back to the Heidelberg University of Education, where he has held a professorship for didactics of technology ever since. His research and work focuses on learning and teaching in general technical education and vocational training in commercial-technical occupational fields.

In addition, he is entrusted with setting up a sub-course or subject in the field of natural science and technology in cooperation with the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . He is also active in teaching and research in the field of trade teacher training.
