Markus Kaiser (* 1978 ) is a German journalist and communication scientist .

Career

Markus Kaiser completed his traineeship at the Nürnberger Zeitung in Nuremberg , where he was then university, science and sports editor. From 2010 to 2016 he was managing director of the media location agency MedienNetzwerk Bayern / MedienCampus Bayern . Since April 2016 he has been professor for practical journalism at the Technical University of Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm . He also works as a consultant for change processes in the media and communications industry. In May 2019 he was selected by a jury of the Isarnetz digital network in the list of "80 leading figures in Munich's digital and creative scene".

Teaching and Research

His main areas of teaching at the TH Nürnberg are research, digital journalism, media innovations, change management and event management. In addition to his professorship, Kaiser is also a lecturer at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg , Ludwig Maximilians University Munich , Ansbach University and Kempten University .

Research focuses on the car as the media center of the future, robot journalism and change processes in the communication industry.

Book author and editor

Markus Kaiser is the editor and author of specialist books and a member of the Bavaria Cross-Media Working Group at MedienCampus Bayern . He is also active as a blogger on digital media topics.
