Markus Koster (born September 14, 1972 in Trier ) is a former German soccer player .

The 1.74 m tall midfielder played in his youth at TuS Kenn and SV Wittlich . In 1994 he moved to FSV Salmrohr , where he was under contract for six years. In 2000, Koster joined Eintracht Trier . In 2002 and 2003 he played seven games in the 2nd Bundesliga and scored two goals. In 2004 he let his career come to an end with the Luxembourg national divisionist CS Grevenmacher , before playing again for the lower class SG Ruwertal in 2006/07.
