Markus Mraz

Markus Mraz (* 18th October 1968 in Vienna ) is an Austria ischer cooking .

Career

Markus Mraz's parents ran an inn in the Danube city . After graduating from the module , Markus Mraz took over an ice cream parlor in Währinger Straße in 1988.

In 1990 Markus Mraz opened the Mraz & Sohn restaurant with his father Karl-Heinz († 2012) . In 2015 the restaurant was awarded two Michelin stars . His son Lukas Mraz is also the head chef at Mraz & Sohn , his son Manuel is the restaurant manager there.

Awards

2006: One star in the 2007 Michelin Guide for the Mraz & Sohn restaurant

2015: Two stars in the 2016 Michelin Guide for the Mraz & Sohn restaurant

2016: 18 out of 20 points (three toques) in Gault-Millau 2017
