Markus Sammer (born May 20, 1988 in Kufstein , Tyrol ) is an Austrian bobsledder .

Life

Sammer is married and an orthopedic shoemaker by trade. He represented Austria at the 2014 Winter Olympics . The two-man team, consisting of Benjamin Maier and himself, took 22nd place in Sochi . He represented Austria again at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang . With Maier he reached eighth place overall.
