Markus Wulftange (born February 11, 1967 in Osnabrück ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Wulftange began his career at the Osnabrück district club TuS Haste 01 . He came to SC Brück in 1992 through the clubs Blau-Weiß Hollage and SpVg Frechen 20 . Together with his coach at SCB, Tony Woodcock , he went to VfB Leipzig in 1994 and thus into professional football. After four years in the 2nd Bundesliga with Leipzig, he returned to his homeland in 1998 and signed a contract with VfL Osnabrück (Regionalliga Nord). After 20 missions, he left VfL in autumn 1999 and later played for Bornaer SV - and thus again close to Leipzig. At this time he also completed a second degree in Leipzig. From 2001 he worked as a hobby footballer (SV Tresenwald and SSV Stötteritz ).

Today he is a sports therapist in a children's clinic and has been organizing an annual charity tournament for children with cancer for several years.
