Marlei from 1950

Marlei is a street racing car designed by Mário Moreira Leite from Portugal in 1950. The name Marlei is derived from the name of its builder.

The chassis and four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1488 cc come from an Opel Olympia , while the gearbox and brakes come from Vauxhall . The vehicle has a silver-colored, open, two-seater body made of aluminum .

The vehicle has been preserved and can be viewed in the Museu dos Transportes e Comunicações in Porto , Portugal.
