Marlene Kurt

Marlene Kurt (born April 27, 1943 ) is a former Canadian discus thrower and shot putter .

At the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1967 , she was fourth in the discus throw.

In 1970 she was eighth in the shot put and twelfth in the discus throw at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh .

In 1970 and 1971 she was Canadian champion in discus throwing, and in 1970 she was also the shot put. Her personal best in the discus throw of 49.32 m she set on July 13, 1968 in Lethbridge .
