Marlene Marder
Marlene Marder (born Marlene Marti * 1. December 1954 ; † 15. May 2016 ) was a Swiss punk - guitarist .
Originally a saxophonist , she played in the band Kleenex , which from 1980 was called “LiLiPUT”. In 1976 she was one of the founders of the "homosexual women group" in Zurich . Later she wrote the book "Kleenex / LiLiPUT - The Diary of Guitarist Marlene Marder" (1986), ran a record shop and a concert agency.
She died of cancer at the age of 61.
