Marlesreuth is a district of Naila in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .
history
Marlesreuth was first mentioned on March 18, 1362 as " Marcksreut ". From 1910 to 1973 Marlesreuth was connected to the German railway network via the Naila – Schwarzenbach line. The route was closed in 1994 and later dismantled, and a cycle path was built in sections on the route.
On May 1, 1978, the previously independent community was incorporated into the city of Naila.
