Marlis Hillebrand

Marlis Hillebrand (born June 15, 1946 in Zell (Mosel) , † April 16, 2009 in Baunatal ) was a German poet and painter .

Life

After elementary school, she completed a commercial apprenticeship in Trier. Residing in Bonn, she was employed in the secretariat of the Conference of Ministers of Education from 1977 to 2001. In the fall of 1989 she began to write down her poems. The first volume of poetry was published in December 1990. She became the mother of a son in 1966 and was divorced in 1974.
