Marlis Robels-Merry

Marlis Robels-Fröhlich (born September 5, 1937 in Geldern ) is a German CDU politician .

education and profession

After attending elementary school and high school, Marlis Robels-Fröhlich received her Abitur in 1958. After studying medicine, he did a traineeship at Westdeutsche Werbefernsehen GmbH, Cologne. She worked as a clerk from 1967 to 1970, and from 1970 she became a television editor.

politics

Marlis Robels-Fröhlich has been a member of the CDU since 1967. She has been a board member of the women's union of the CDU Cologne since 1971 and a board member of the state women's union since 1985. She became a member of the media policy working groups at the state and federal level of the Women's Union, and in 1988 she became a member of the CDU's Federal Media Policy Committee. Since 1971 she has been a permanent member of the board of directors in the local association of the North City Center, Cologne. From 1975 to 1988 she was a member of the Cologne City Council and from 1980 to 1983 a member of the Rhineland Regional Assembly.

Marlis Robels-Fröhlich was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from March 31, 1983 to May 31, 1995 . It moved up to the 9th state parliament , and entered the 10th and 11th state parliament via the state list.
