Marsha Garces
Marsha Garces (born June 18, 1956 ) is an American film producer . She was married to actor Robin Williams from 1989 to 2008 . Garces lives in San Francisco .
Life
Career
Garces produced several films in which Robin Williams participated, for example Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), Patch Adams (1998) and Jacob the Liar (1999). For the television production Robin Williams: Live on Broadway (2002) she and her fellow producers David Steinberg, Marty Callner and Randall Gladstein were nominated for an Emmy in the category Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special in 2003 .
Private
Garces and Williams married shortly after Williams and his first wife Valerie Velardi divorced in 1989. The relationship resulted in two children. In 2008, Garces filed for divorce because of "irreconcilable differences".
