The Martin Shoals are shallows off the Loubet coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . They extend over an area of 1 km by 0.5 km northwest of Detaille Island and south of Harper Rocks at the entrance to Lallemand Fjord .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2014. It is named after John B. Marshall, its discoverer and captain of the RRS Bransfield (1992–1999) and the RRS Ernest Shackleton (1999–2012) in the service of the British Antarctic Survey .
