Marstallstrasse (Riga)

The Marstallstraße ( Latvian Marstalu iela ) is a street in the Latvian capital Riga .

It is located in Riga's Old Town and leads from the junction with the sinners road ( Grecinieku iela ) and the Weber Road ( Audēju iela ) to the southwest, crossing the Herrnstraße ( Kungu iela ) until after an interval of about 280 meters on the road embankment of November 11 ( 11. novembra krastmala ) on the Daugava meets.

The street has existed since the 13th century, the name Marstallstraße has been in use since 1415 , after the horse stables that were located here at that time.

The Reformed Church is at Marstallstrasse 10 and the Dannensternhaus at number 21 . Also listed building is of Reuternsche house in Marstallstraße 2, at the corner of Weber Street.
