The Tilley Bay is a bay on the Mawson coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Lands . It is located immediately east of the Tilley Nunatak .
Norwegian cartographers they mapped using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen Expedition 1936-37 and named it Nabbvika ( Norwegian for Zapf Bay ). The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia , however, named it after the British mineralogist and petrologist Cecil Edgar Tilley (1894–1974) from the University of Cambridge, based on the designation of neighboring Nunatak .
