Martín de Beratúa is best known for his contribution to the design of the towers of the Cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda in Logroño , the free-standing campanile of the Cathedral of Santo Domingo de la Calzada and the tower of the Iglesia de Santa María de la Asunción in Briones . It is probable that other buildings can be assigned to it, but it has not yet been proven.

A typical feature of its facades and towers is the strong visual two-part design with unadorned basement floors and extremely richly designed spiers.
