Marth is an impact crater in the southwest of the front of the moon in the plains of the Palus Epidemiarum , southwest of the Mercator crater , near the Rimae Ramsden . The small crater has a double wall, in which a slightly smaller inner crater is located exactly in the center of the outer crater.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German astronomer Albert Marth .
