Adolf Krefft

Adolf Krefft (born September 22, 1863 in Schwerin ; † April 27, 1936 there ) was a German businessman and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

After attending secondary school, Krefft completed a commercial apprenticeship in Lübeck from 1882 . His training also took him to other cities in Germany. He did military service from 1884 to 1885 and in 1893 became a partner in his father's business Friedrich Krefft in Schwerin, which he took over as sole owner in 1901. During the First World War he served as an employee at the war press office in Berlin . As such, he was active at home and abroad at the front in the armed forces of the army and the navy.

During the time of the Weimar Republic , Krefft joined the DNVP. From 1920 to 1929 he was a member of the state parliament of the Free State of Mecklenburg-Schwerin . He was also a board member of the Kyffhäuserbund and the Landes-Kriegerverband, honorary shop steward at various authorities and chairman of the Schwerin merchants.
