Martial de Guernon-Ranville
Martial Côme Annibal Perpétue Magloire, comte de Guernon-Ranville (born May 2, 1787 in Caen , † November 30, 1866 in Ranville ) was a French legal scholar.
Life
He became President of the Court of Justice in Caen in 1820, Advocate General in Colmar in 1822 , Procurator General in Limoges in 1824 , in Grenoble in 1826 , in Lyon in 1829 , in the same year Minister for Education and Culture, and as such signed the Ordinances of July 25, 1830, after the July Revolution sentenced to life imprisonment and taken to Ham with the other ministers , but released with them in 1836.
