Martijn Keizer (born March 25, 1988 in Muntendam ) is a Dutch cyclist .

As a junior driver, Keizer won Dutch championships in the individual time trial in 2005 and 2006 . In 2005 he also won the overall ranking of the GP Rüebliland .

In 2007 Keizer joined Rabobank Continental , the farm team of the UCI ProTeam Rabobank . In his first year there, he won the time trial stage of the Tour du Haut Anjou and was able to win the overall standings. In 2010 he won the time trial of the Tour de Bretagne , the prologue of the Circuito Montañés and the Dutch U23 time trial championship.

From 2011 to 2013 Keizer drove for Vacansoleil-DCM . In his first year with this team he won the one-day race Boucles de l'Aulne and the bronze medal of the Dutch championship in the elite individual time trial. He also contested and finished with the Vuelta a España 2011, the first of a total of eleven Grand Tours of his career.

After a stopover at Veranclassic-Doltcini , he switched to the Belkin-Pro Cycling Team , later the Lotto NL-Jumbo team , with which he ended his international career at the end of the 2017 season. His best result during this time was second overall at the Tour de l'Eurométropole .
