Boucles de l'Aulne

The Boucles de l'Aulne is a French cycling race .

The one-day race , which usually has its date in early June and takes place around the French commune of Châteaulin in the Finistère department in Brittany , was held for the first time in 1931. Until 1938 the race was called Grand Prix Le Télégramme de Brest , from 1945 to 2001 Circuit de l'Aulne and since 2002 it has been called the current name. Since the introduction of the UCI Europe Tour in the 2005 season, the race has been part of this racing series and classified in category 1.1. The Boucles de l'Aulne was also part of the Coupe de France , a series of French one-day races from 2000 to 2004 . The record winner is Bernard Hinault , who won the race four times.
