The Martin Luther Church is an Evangelical Lutheran church in Tarmstedt , a municipality in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony .

history

As the town of Tarmstedt grew, the Hannoversche Landeskirche had a parish hall built there in 1962. In 1973 the parish II of Wilstedt was established in Tarmstedt. In 1983 a church was finally consecrated. In 1984 a free-standing, 16.25 m high bell tower was built next to the church. In 2010 the parishes were merged again.
