Martin Becker (politician)

Martin Becker (* 1960 ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and trade unionist .

The trained electrical engineer is deputy chairman of the works council of the Saar mine and is a member of the main board of IG Bergbau, Chemie, Energie . In the Saarland state elections in 2004 and the federal election in 2005 , he stood as a candidate for the SPD. After Peter Gillo left the state parliament of the Saarland , Becker was able to move up for him on August 28, 2009 and was appointed as a member of parliament on September 2, 2009. He was a member of the state parliament until the end of the legislative period on September 23, 2009.
