Martin Butler (director)
Martin Butler (born May 14, 1952 ) is an Australian film director , screenwriter and film producer who was nominated for an Oscar.
Career
Butler has worked as a director, producer and screenwriter since 2009. In these activities he was responsible for the documentaries Contact , First Footprints and A Sense of Self , as well as the feature film Tanna - Eine Verbotene Liebe . For his involvement in the film Tanna , Butler received an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2017 Academy Awards with Bentley Dean .
Butler has been working with Bentley Dean , who also works as a director, since 2009 .
