Martin Caduff

Martin Caduff (* 1988 ) is a Swiss cultural manager and countertenor .

Life

Martin Caduff was born in 1988 in the canton of Graubünden . He studied music with a major in singing at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and history at the University of Lucerne . As a private student of Richard Levitt, he was allowed to act in the documentary The Animal in you . In 2008 he was the winner of the Eliette von Karajan Cultural Fund . In 2014 he founded the baroque ensemble Accademia Barocca Lucernensis . The ABL is a baroque ensemble that is dedicated to the game based on the latest research in historical performance practice.

In 2015, Martin Caduff founded the bach akademie luzern , a choir and instrumental group that specializes in the performance of works by Johann Sebastian Bach .

Together with the internationally acclaimed Swiss soprano Regula Mühlemann , he founded CLAMUS Lucerne in 2017. CLAMUS Lucerne is the organizer of top-class concerts in the KKL Luzern .
