Martin Eigler the Elder (also Aigler; † 1769 ) was court carpenter for the margraves of Baden-Baden in Rastatt and Ettlingen .

He came from Bregenz and created, among other things, the altars in the Schlosskirche Rastatt (1732), the monastery church Kloster Lichtenthal (1756), the pilgrimage church Bickesheim (1737) and an only partially preserved altar in Ötigheim (1747/48) as well as the organ prospect of the Silbermann organ in the collegiate church Baden-Baden (1753; today in Karlsruhe-Bulach).

The altar of the old church in Würmersheim (1778) goes back to his son Martin Eigler the Younger (1756–1806) .
