Martin Fillo (born February 7, 1986 in Planá ) is a Czech football player .
Career
Fillo started playing football at the Pilsen club Sokol Košutka. At the age of eight he moved to SK Pilsen in 1894, and in 1996 he was signed by the largest club in the city, FC Viktoria Pilsen . There he went through the youth teams and was accepted into the professional squad in early 2004. In the Gambrinus Liga , the striker made his debut at the age of 18 on March 15, 2004 in a 1: 2 against Baník Ostrava . In his second outing nine days later, he scored his first goal in the professional field. From then on he had a regular place. However, Fillo could not prevent the relegation of his team. In the 2004/05 season he scored five goals in 25 second division games and thus contributed to the immediate resurgence of his club. In both the 2005/06 and 2006/07 seasons he was one of the best offensive players on his team and was appointed to the Czech U21 national team.
In December 2007 he signed a five-year contract with the Norwegian top club Viking Stavanger . According to the Norwegian media, the transfer fee was 10 million Norwegian kroner, about 1.3 million euros, while the Czech media mentioned almost two million euros. In his first season at Stavanger , the attacker scored six goals in 24 league games. After three years of playing in Norway, Fillo returned to Pilsen in early 2011. On January 28, 2012 he was awarded by FC Viktoria Pilsen to the league rivals FK Mladá Boleslav .
