Martin Fowler
Martin Fowler (* 1963 in Walsall , England ) is an author and speaker on the subject of software architecture . He specializes in object-oriented analysis and design, UML , design patterns and agile software development .
Fowler began software development in the early 1980s, wrote five major books on software development, and is one of the authors and first signatories of the Manifesto for Agile Software Development .
Today he works as chief developer at the consulting company ThoughtWorks .
He maintains a bliki, a mixture of blog and wiki .
