Martin Geissler

Martin Geissler (* 1984 in Weißenfels ) is a German basketball official . He is the manager of Central German BC .

career

Geissler's active basketball career was limited to assignments in the school team of the Goethe Gymnasium in Weißenfels . After attending a home game of the MBC predecessor club SSV Weißenfels in 1999, contact with the sport became closer, he then wrote about basketball for a school newspaper as well as local media and at the age of 17, the then sports director Ingo Wolf was the press spokesman for Central German BC in brought the basketball league .

After the club's forced relegation to the regional league, he took over the managerial position at MBC in 2004.
