Dealing with the AfD

After the AfD moved into the Geisa city council in the 2019 city council elections, the city council decided, like the left, to have a seat on the city council's main committee. The left accused Henkel and the CDU Geisa of collaborating with the AfD. Henkel rejected this resolutely and referred to the city council's resolution on the allocation of committee seats, which was also passed with votes from the left.
