Martin Holz (* 1986 in Großröhrsdorf , GDR ) is a German all-media artist and author / poet . Holz became known as the director of the artist-in-residence program Pilotenkueche in Leipzig .

Life

After graduating from high school, Martin Holz studied German and philosophy in Leipzig from 2005 to 2007. Art education followed from 2007 to 2012 and visual arts from 2012 to 2014 at the University of Greifswald . Holz initiated and curated several off-space campaigns in northern Germany. Holz became known with exhibitions and campaigns for the artist-in-residence program Pilotenkueche in Leipzig , of which he has been director since 2014. As an artist, Martin Holz himself pursues a "performant intervention in the border area of ​​human existence " ( flanzendörfer experiment).

Martin Holz lives and works in Leipzig.
