The Pilotenkueche is an international artist-in-residence program in Leipzig .

history

The pilot kitchen was founded in 2007 by Christoph Mayer from Vienna. The current director is Julianne Csapo. The locations and cooperation partners of the program have so far been the old cotton spinning mill , the Dietzold works and the old trading school in the west of Leipzig . The participants are selected by changing curators. The working languages ​​of the program are English and German. Artist Director is Maeshelle West-Davies. Since it was founded in 2007 by Christoph Mayer from Vienna, Pilotenkueche has exhibited more than 450 artists in 42 exhibition rounds. The public presentation of the resulting works takes place in scholarship exhibitions.

scholarship

The amount of the scholarship (grant) of the pilot kitchen is between 1400 euros and 2800 euros for a 3-month stay.
