Martin Jochheim

Martin Jochheim (born June 24, 1958 ) is a German Protestant theologian, psychological advisor, supervisor and trainer.

Jochheim studied Protestant theology in Munich, Tübingen and Berlin; Vicariate and parish vicariate followed in the Evangelical Church in Württemberg . In 1996 he received his doctorate from the University of Kiel with the dissertation Pastoral Care and Psychotherapy - Historical-Systematic Studies on the Teaching of Pastoral Care with Oskar Pfister, Eduard Thurneysen and Walter Uhsadel . Jochheim then worked as a repetiteur for psychological counseling at the Evangelical Monastery in Tübingen and as a university assistant at the Evangelical Theological Faculty of Tübingen. 1997 to 2004 he was parish priest in Kressbronn on Lake Constance . From 2005 to 2010 he headed the telephone counseling service Oberschwaben-Allgäu-Bodensee in Ravensburg, from 2007 to 2010 he was managing director of the German Society for Pastoral Psychology (DGfP). Since 1998 he has worked as a supervisor and trainer in his own practice. He is a member of the Society for Person-Centered Psychotherapy and Counseling (GwG) and the German Society for Supervision (DGSv). He has various teaching positions at universities and training institutes and publishes on pastoral psychological topics. Jochheim has been an employee of the Hessian consultancy service of LAG Wohnen eV since 2011
