Martin Lager
Martin Lager (* 1936 in Toronto ) is a Canadian actor , writer and screenwriter .
Lager began his acting career in live television dramas. He then became known as a playwright and screenwriter of television films and series. He has received two awards from Telefilm Canada Screenwriting and the Canada Council and four awards from the Ontario Arts Council . His film Klondike Fever (1980) was nominated for a Genie Award .
From 1985 to 1990, Lager was Executive Producer for Drama at CTV Television Network , where he produced the series Night Heat , ENG and My Secret Identity , among others . He teaches drama and screenwriting courses and teaches film, radio and television history at Humber College.
