Martin Laursen (born August 3, 1995 in Grindsted , Denmark ) is a Danish handball player who has played 78 times in the 2nd Bundesliga .

Career

Laursen began playing handball in his native Grindsted. In the B youth he moved to Skanderborg Håndbold . Laursen played up to the A-youth for Skanderborg and was used there in the men's team, which competed in the Danish top division. In the summer of 2014 he joined the German second division club SV Henstedt-Ulzburg . After the 2015/16 season, Henstedt-Ulzburg withdrew his license application for the 2nd Bundesliga and was relegated to the 3rd division . Subsequently, SV Henstedt-Ulzburg and HSV Norderstedt formed the HSG Nord HU syndicate, for which Laursen came up. After the 2016/17 season, the syndicate was dissolved and he was part of the HSV Norderstedt squad. Since Norderstedt withdrew his team before the start of the 2017/18 season, he was then without a contract. In October 2017, the third division HG Hamburg-Barmbek signed him. In 2018 he was relegated to the league with Barmbek. A year later he returned to the 3rd division with Barmbek.

Laursen played international matches for the Danish national youth team.
