Martin Saltuari (born April 22, 1983 in Meran ) is an Italian football player .

Born in South Tyrol, he began his football career with the SV Lana youth team in the Burggrafenamt . After very good performances with the youth teams of Trento NC and Virtus Don Bosco, he moved to BNZ Tirol and played for the U19 of FC Tirol Innsbruck . After the bankruptcy of FC Tirol Innsbruck, he moved to SV Hall . In the Regionalliga West , he developed from an attacking midfielder to a striker. In the 2005/2006 season, Martin Saltuari scored 18 goals, including 4 goals in a game against FC Dornbirn 1913 .

The promising forward talent signed a contract for one year with FC Wacker Tirol on June 7, 2006 , with an option for the club for a further two years. In the first half of the 2006/2007 Bundesliga , Martin Saltuari was only used sporadically. This was mainly due to the fact that FC Wacker Tirol mostly acted with only one striker, mostly Jiří Mašek . The leap from Regionalliga West into the Austrian upper house of football was also a difficult step. Martin Saltuari made his Bundesliga debut in the 60th minute of the 14th round of the 2006/2007 season against FK Austria Wien .

On January 31, 2008 it will be awarded to the regional division FC Kufstein until the end of the season.

In the summer of 2008, Saltuari returned to SV Hall after the relegation of FC Wacker Innsbruck . There he played one season before he ended his professional career and returned to his home club in South Tyrol.
