Martin Schnippa

Martin Schnippa (* 1988 in Annaberg-Buchholz ) is a German actor .

Life

Martin Schnippa grew up in a small village near Weimar . He first studied cultural studies and aesthetic practice at the University of Hildesheim from 2007 to 2014 and graduated with a diploma.

During his studies he played in several independent theater groups. In the 2011/12 season he was a guest at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen . With the production SOLDATEN - A scenic-musical report he was invited to the “Best OFF Festival Free Theater of the Lower Saxony Foundation”. In the 2013/14 season he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus . He also worked there in the theater business, was jointly responsible for the design of the evening program and completed his thesis in theater studies there . In Düsseldorf he worked with Juliane Kann , Christian Weise , Ludwig Haugk and the independent theater group “vorschlag: hammer”, among others . For the 2014/15 season Schnippa was a permanent member of the Theater Heidelberg ensemble .

From 2015 he attended various coaching and advanced training courses in the areas of acting, directing and scriptwriting, etc. a. with Hanfried Schüttler at the Filmhaus Babelsberg. From 2015–2016 he performed at BAT Berlin . In 2017 he played the German-Russian Andrei Iwanowitsch Stolz in Oblomow in a production on Kampnagel . With this production he also made a guest appearance at the Volksbühne Berlin in April 2017 .

Schnippa worked in several short films, university films and diploma films. His first television work was an episode role in the children's series An Angel for All (2015). In September 2017 he was seen in the ZDF series Die Bossin in a supporting role; he played Jens Stöhr, a criminal drug addict who consumes crystal meth . In September / October 2017 Schnippa can be seen in the television series Rote Rosen in several episodes of a supporting role as archeology student Florian Peters.

Schnippa lives in Berlin . His hobby is cycling on an old vintage bike from the 1970s.
