Martin Stather

Martin Stather (born July 5, 1954 in Heidelberg ) is a German art historian and exhibition curator .

Life

Martin Stather studied art history in Heidelberg, Munich and Hamburg. In 1988 he received his doctorate in Heidelberg.

M. Stather has been the artistic director of the Mannheim Art Association for many years and the author of numerous publications on contemporary art. In his research, he deals with a wide range of topics from the art of the 19th and 20th centuries and contemporary art .
