Martin Thaler (skeleton pilot)

Martin Thaler is a former Austrian skeleton rider .

Martin Thaler had his most successful sporting time between 1990 and 1994. During this time he was placed in the top ten of the overall skeleton world cup several times. The best result was a third place in the 1991/92 season. Best results in individual World Cups, in which he participated between 1988 and 1995, were third places in Lake Placid in February 1992 and January 1994 in Igls . At the World Championships in St. Moritz in 1989 he was sixth, and a year later in Königssee fifth.
