Martin van Rijn (2012)

Maarten Johannes (Martin) van Rijn (* 7. February 1956 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch politician of the Labor Party and officials . From November 5, 2012 to October 26, 2017, he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Wellbeing and Sport in the Rutte II cabinet . On March 23, 2020, he took over the post of Minister for Health Care in the Rutte III cabinet after Bruno Bruins resigned for health reasons. He resigned on July 9, 2020 and was succeeded by Tamara van Ark ( VVD ).
