Martin von Mauschwitz

Martin von Mauschwitz (born October 22, 1961 in Ratingen ) is the presenter of the television program “Current Hour” on West German Broadcasting (WDR).

Career

The Rhinelander Martin von Mauschwitz, who grew up in Mettmann , had his first journalistic experience as a press spokesman for a sports club and as a local reporter for the Rheinische Post . The victory in a young sport reporter competition then gave him a position in the business department of the WDR radio. He soon moderated the radio program "Westzeit" on WDR 2 . From 1997 to 2001 he was an anchorman of the regional program Lokalzeit Ruhr and has moderated the “Current Hour” since 2001. In addition, he is the annual moderator of Kölner Lichter on WDR television.
