Martina Endepohls-Ulpe

Martina Endepohls-Ulpe (* 1956 in Rheydt ) is a German psychologist and lecturer at the University of Koblenz-Landau . Her areas of work include developmental psychology , educational psychology , diagnostics , clinical psychology and social psychology . She also works as an expert and is a trained therapist .

Career

From 1976 to 1982 studied Endepohls-Ulpe at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn psychology . She put down her diploma thesis entitled " Emancipation and Life Course " in 1982 and thus obtained her diploma . Until 1984 she worked first as a research assistant at the Psychological Institute, then at the Psychological Seminar of the Pedagogical Faculty at the University of Bonn. The doctorate followed in 1989 in psychology with the dissertation The distribution of tasks in partnerships at the birth of the first child - gender-typical behavior in adulthood from an action-theoretical perspective . Since 1990 she has held the position of councilor at the Institute for Psychology at the University of Koblenz-Landau, on the Koblenz campus . In 1996, Endepohls-Ulpe was given the position of Academic Senior Councilor, and in 2004 she was appointed Academic Director. In 2010 habilitated they are in the Department of Educational Sciences at the University of Koblenz-Landau. Endepohls-Ulpe received the Venia Legendi for psychology. In 2016 she was appointed adjunct professor .

Martina Endepohls-Ulpe is a trained behavioral therapist and client-centered conversation therapist. She also has experience in gestalt therapy . She worked as a therapist until 1990 in the form of individual therapies in private practice.

She is a member of the Professional Association of German Psychologists (BDP), Society for Scientific Talk Therapy (GWG), Word Council For Gifted and Talented Children (WCGT), European Council for High Ability (ECHA), German Society for Psychology as well as the specialist groups in developmental and educational psychology (DGPs) and in the International Research Association on Talent Development and Excellence (IRATDE) .

She works as a reviewer for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health, International Journal of Gender, Science and Technology, ex aequo - scientific journal of the Portuguese Women's Studies Association, 29th PATT conference in Marseille (April 2015) and Psychology Learning and Teaching .

Endepohls-Ulpe is married and has two children.
