Martina Gastl

Martina Ingeborg Gastl , née Schütz (* 1974 in Bamberg ) is a German brewing scientist. She is deputy head of the chair for brewing and beverage technology at the Technical University of Munich .

Life

Gastl trained as a brewer and maltster ; She then studied brewing and beverage technology at the Technical University of Munich , where she received her doctorate in 2006 with a thesis on lipid breakdown. Since 2009 she has headed the raw material technology working group at the Chair for Brewing and Beverage Technology at the Weihenstephan Science Center .

Gastl is a member of the German Brewing and Malting Master Association and the competence center for nutrition in Bavaria.
