Martina Ullmann is a German Egyptologist .

Life

In 1990 she completed her Magister Artium (major: Egyptology, minor subjects: Philology of the Christian Orient, Ethnology ) with the master’s thesis The central column door in the temple - iconography and functional determination . From 1990 to 1994 she was a research assistant at the Institute for Egyptology at LMU Munich with the task of: Conception and construction of a computer-aided keyword catalog for the institute library including the creation of a separate thesaurus for Egyptological, Coptological and Sudanese archaeological literature. Her main research interests are Egyptian temples, especially questions about architecture, the decoration program, theology and cult; Morphology and genesis of sacred landscape areas in Egypt and Nubia and the Egyptian kingdom.
