Marty Brown

Marty Brown (born July 25, 1965 in Maceo, Kentucky ) is an American country singer.

Life

Marty Brown is counted among the traditionalists of country music. His songs, far removed from the mainstream, are only interesting for hardcore country fans and sell accordingly badly. Marty Brown never made a secret of his rural origins. His saying is traditional: "I went to New York City once and I felt I ought to have a passport."

After years of struggling in Nashville and grueling tours , Brown got a recording contract with MCA in 1991 . A total of three albums were produced, the quality of which was recognized by the critics, but which met with little response from the audience. In 1996 he had to change the label due to unsuccessfulness. With his new record company Hightone he produced another album, which was also not very successful.
