Martyn Bedford
Martyn Bedford (* 1959 ) is a British writer .
Life
Martyn Bedford grew up as an only child in Croydon. He studied journalism at the University of East Anglia and eventually worked for twelve years as a journalist for regional newspapers. During this time he wrote several short stories, some of which were published, before he made his debut as a writer in 1996 with Acts of Revision , which was published in German by Heyne Verlag under the title The Draftsman . Now that two more of his novels have been translated into German, Houdini Girl and Crash - ins False Life , he teaches English and creative writing at Trinity University College.
